Ex-Groove is a console exclusive 'custom groove'. It allows you to mix and match system mechanics from other grooves and also add unique stuff like chain combos. Very fun, kind of broken.

Music is from Super DBZ (on the PS2).

That Chun li combo just sounded cool. You can almost hear the sequence of inputs from the control.

I've never been too big of a fan of CvS2 but this grove may have just changed my mind.

I think the fg industry along the years could have given more attention to silly and busted extra game modes or options. This ex groove idea is a good example, and it actually came in the era companies were more concerned to give fun extras.

Lately we are seeing a few cases of that direction, that is a good sign of change... but i wanted to see more of that from this scene that is still driven by the same companies and the same 30 year old franchises.
