EXTREME TOY DECLUTTER AND ORGANIZE | BEFORE CHRISTMAS TOY DECLUTTERING

Christmas is right around the corner which means it's time for extreme toy declutter and organize with me session!

Last year I did a huge decluttering right after Christmas and this year I stepped it up and did one before Christmas. My big motivator is that we want to put a TV in the playroom and that means rearranging some furniture and consolidating what we have into less storage.

We go through major decluttering sessions in the playroom about every six months and try to stay on top of the clutter during the regular cleanings. But toys just tend to clutter all the time - from gifts to party favors and random things the kids accumulate.

It was also another great opportunity for the kids to participate in the decluttering process and decide for themselves what they want to keep and what they want to declutter.

Good to c u today. Your kids did great letting go of stuff. Could u use your white drawers for a tv stand and move the table in front of the windows. This would give them more natural light and open the room even more. Just a thought. It's looking nice n the play room bet they enjoy it greatly.

I use graphing paper and decide where the best place is before moving the furniture. So I have a map of what works best where. It's hard not only for your body but also for the furniture to be moving it. I know that instead of graphing paper you can also use a computer. I'm just more comfortable with the paper because that's what is quickest and easiest for me.
