Dib and Gaz's birth Mystic's d3@+h (Dr. Membrane and Mystic Angst)

Hello my darlings ❤ I'm sorry I havenot posted in a while. Real live has been keeping me hecka busy and my device I use to make Sonic and friends was actingup but thankfully it's working again. So while I wrap up my next Sonadow video before posting it here's a little Invader Zim Fandom. (I promise my next Sonic and friends video will feature Amy cause I've wanted to do a video with her for awhile know I just needed to find a song I wanted to use for her.) So without further ado onto my Invader Zim video. Hope you enjoy.

So I am not huge on Invader Zim but one thing that always intrigued me as well as several other fans of the series was the lack of Dib and Gaz's mother or mother figure. I have also heard a lot of the theories about Dr. Membrane being an Irken or that Dib and Gaz are clones he made so I wanted to make a video similar to this theory but with a little twist. I'm not sure it the idea is original or not but I hade fun making this AU so everyone met Mystic a female Irken clone who was created/born to breed. I'll get more into her backstory in another video but for now here's the basics of my AU.

Mystic was born/created by the Tallest Irkens to travel to a planet, to breed with one of the species there within three years time then invade it while bringing either one or two specimen she was able to obtain back to the home planet (Couldn't remember the name it'd been a while since I've watched the show). Unfortunately there is a slight catch if she does breed successfully only one can survive, her or the specimen(s). She however is not made aware of this.

Mystic however doesn’t like the way Irkens treat life and other smaller Irkens (namely Zim) So once given the mission she sabotages it and ends up crashing her ship on Earth, destroying it and leaving herself stranded on Earth.

From there she learns to survive using her ability to blend in with humans and goes successfully undetected for almost a year before she meets Membrane who at first she thinks is an egotistical narcissist (in this universe his younger self is kinda a jerk) so when they first meet she not only shows him up but is then seen as being smarter than Membrane. This intrigues him and after a few months and some bickering the two actually start to develop a relationship of sorts.

This soon escalates into love as Mystic decides to tell Membrane what she really is and while Membrane inevitably shrugs off the idea of aliens (he never really changes 🙄) he and Mystic start a life together. However as the three year mark comes steadily near Mystic finds out that if she doesn't breed by the three year mark that both eggs will become infertile.

She tells Membrane this and being thrilled at the idea of them being able to have their own children despite their different species, he builds a special lab for Mystic and gives her his DNA so the eggs can become fertile while they incubate in a special holding chamber for two weeks.

Once both eggs are fertile Mystic rarely leaves the nursery lab as she looks over her eggs. However as the babies begin to form and grow Mystic learns the awful truth that only one can survive once the little ones hatch, them or herself.

She keeps this to herself at first however as the due date nears she tells Membrane who is at first loss for words but however he lets her know he has her back so after a lot of thinking it over her mind made up. Even if she can't be there to watch her babies grow she wants to give them a chance to live.

She and Membrane spend as much time together as they can leading up to the due date and when the eggs finally "hatch" there are complications since both babies are not fully formed. Mystic then gives both her life force through her pack allowing them to become complete and healthy. As she lay dying, her babies in her arms Membrane rushes in and at first is distraught before he joins her as he smiles at his children in his lover's arms.

Mystic smiles weakly as she tells him she named the boy Dib and the girl Gaz. The little family has a bittersweet moment before Mystic begins to fade telling Membrane she loves him and to take care of their little ones.

Membrane, rightully is upset however once he sees his kids open their eyes and smile at him he smiles back embracing them as he vows to take care of their children.
