Dear Ben, God bless you, words can't describe how much you and your videos have helped, I went from nothing in Physics during my first year of o levels, and now I'm doing my degree in uni, it would mean the world to me if you replied, and I'm really bummed Edexcel isn't even giving you the utmost amount of credit, because you are really a gem, take care my friend

I would like to thank you for these amazing videos!
Before this, i had little interest in physics but after watching your videos i learnt so much!

and yesterday i received my Igcse results and got an A in Physics and i owe it all to you!

Thank you :)

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for creating these videos, you have improved my physics tremendously and I admire the time consuming effort you must have put in to making them. I am currently preparing for my IGCSE physics external examination for this approaching Wednesday and avidly watching the podcasts and doing the examples while I can! In my most recent mocks after discovering your videos I got 93% across both paper 1 and paper 2 making a huge improvement from my B I had previously received. These videos have helped no end and I am extremely grateful-you are a saint, thank you Ben! Georgie :)

5:38 the answer is 3m/s because the quastion asks for the decelaration if it asked for the accelaration it would be -3m/s

There's no hard and fast rule about what to plot on each axis of a graph - I have plotted Force on the y-axis and Extension on the x-axis so that the gradient of the graph is k - the spring constant. (Consider the equation F=kx and the general equation for a straight line, y=mx).
I know that generally, students at GCSE are taught that the independent variable (what you change) goes on the x-axis, and the dependent variable (what you measure) goes on the y-axis, but sometimes it dies make sense to swap the axes, if the gradient is more meaningful.

It's been 5 years and your videos are still the best one out there for IGCSE physics. Thank you very much, sir!! I am really glad I found a channel like yours. I am going to sit for the exam this may 2018 and probably it will be the last session for this specification. Wish me luck :)

this video has become 4 years old and its saved me from three exams now. Ben, if you read this, I would like to thank you soooo much. I got an A+ on my test thanks to your waves video, as you explain everything much better than my teacher. During class she just puts your videos and stays there not teaching, so thank you.

I am so pleased to have found this, it's nice there are people who post educational videos like this for other students to help them. As a private student, this is great along with my book resources. thank you!!!!
