RST TracTech EVO III Sport Boots Review

Designed for comfort and safety, the TracTech Evo III has been developed with countless hours on the road and track! With the proven fit of its predecessor and huge upgrade in spec, the TracTech Evo III massively over delivers in all areas. The new hard wearing sole is bonded to the 360 heel cockpit, this in-turn is attached to the rear ankle support structure preventing over flexion and extension of the ankle. The redesigned shin plate offers increased protection from impacts, as does the enlarged toe-box. The attention to detail even stretches to different sized shift pads dependant on the boot size. For a boot that offers supreme protection and day long comfort look no further than the TracTech Evo III.

Have an older version EVO II boots, crashed the bike and hit the cars towbar with my toes at about 40 mph and had only bruising on my toes, boots and foot survived but bikes rear set didn't. Have them 3 years already and still enjoying them. Like Bryan said it's amazing value for money.

Really struggling between choosing these and Alpinestars SMX-6 V2 Vented Boots. I plan on doing some track days in the fall once it cools off. Which would you recommend between those two? From what I've researched it seems like these RST have all around better protection for nearly half the price but the Alpines seem to be more comfortable

Anyone else find that these boots are really narrow around the calf area? i couldnt get them to shut over my Dainese leather bottoms yet i put my tcx boots on with zero problem and closed them with zero problem.

Probably a dumb question, but would these be comfortable to walk around in throughout the day? I'm considering these doubling as my commuting boots.

Wish I'd invested in these before my tib and fib were crushed by a curb+ bike falling on my normal work boots (Nike Acg). Just picked up a pair from Amazon. Will ride with some form of protection ankle/leg protection for as long as I ride.

Hi again i liked the design of the boots and were only 113 ppunds inc delivery to spain. I am a size nine in all my boots but these would have been better with a 9.5. Anyway i think i will buy another make. Probably bin the rst boots as wouldnt want anyone to have an accident. I have no idea why this is happening but i have to lift my foot off peg at times to make a gear change up or down ???

Key question - $170 or $500 dollar. What do you actually get for the extra $330 or is it just a badge & vanity?

Performance/price seems good. I'll buy it.
My foot length is 26cm and I generally wear 40.
What size I should order on RST?

Great video as always! I just recently learned about this boot I am not a track person but would like this style of boot for everyday riding and protection. Do you think this boot works for everyday riding and off the bike comfort? Second, how do you think these boots compare to Alpinestars SMX 6 V2 they look similar. I wear a size 9 but have not seen a size chart for these boots. Thanks so much for your help.

Dumb question time. Just bought these boots from you guys and love them. First pair of actual sport bike boots. My problem is I cant feel for the shifter anymore with left boot lol. I feel like I have to make a focused effort to upshift, and I have to really bend my ankle forward to get under the shifter (stock rearsets on a ZX10R). Will these boots break in and feel natural for shifting after some time? Thanks man
