In these covid episodes I always think "oh my the joke tanked", before i realize there is just no crowd

Placebo-effect must have been particularly powerful for it to be that popular.

Definitely one of all time best episodes of QI XL and yes we need more academics like the brilliant Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock on the show, hopefully more appearances from her. On Rhinos, we really need to do more in terms of conservation and protection of these beautiful animals. I’d love for the World Wildlife Foundation to be an official body of the United Nations.

Somewhere out there, Lurr is scowling.

If the keratin from rhino horn is what gives it “some” useful properties for medicine, why not just use anyone’s hair or fingernails? Surely it’s all the same, especially if it’s all crushed and powdered anyway - I hope that in China newer generations with more scientific understanding give no demand to poaching rhinos

Wasn't there one clip Stephen did on the show, where they talked about reintroducing animals to their native habitats after being hunted to near extinction, where they have a bit about tiger penis and antelope antlers being hunted for their aphrodisiac properties?

If I imagined that, it's a very elaborate hallucination.

Sounds weird without the laughter from the audience...

Why are there no subtitles (not even generated ones)?

Whole point of QI is to recreate school humour by elderly comedians. Well done!

"It's nonsense though, right - the medicinal uses" - "yeah, except it reduces fever"

So, the correct answer is "no, it's not nonsense".
