"I was starting law school with six kids, and my youngest being toddler twins. So if I can do it, anyone can do it."

Meet the Honorable Ruchie Freier, the first Hasidic woman to be elected to public office as a Judge. From her fight to found Ezras Nashim, the first all-female EMT volunteer ambulance corps, to making challah every week despite working full-time while she was in college and law school, she has defied the odds, and the stereotypes.

Wonderful news! And, about time too, if I may say so. Alas, I think we are way behind in Great Britain. I'm fairly confident Judge Freier can give Judge Judy a run for her money. Lol!
