Replace the spark plug tubes too if you're in there again. They are like 5 bucks on fcp and can be a source of the leak as well.

good job Mitch, i get a car for my son, 2009 bmw 535i xdrive 100, 000 miles for $2500 i took it to the mechanic and he say sell it or throw it out now with your video i will stop the leak question is around how many hours do i need to replace the gasket because i have no garage but if take me 10 hours i don't care if i can start and finish the seam day please let me know. thank you
that work cost 750 dollars

For the vaccume hose you twist and pull out.

I think I cracked mine because I had to do it 3 times but on the third time I put a new VC on. I saw some really fine hairline cracks above the spark plugs on the old one. New VC and Gasket next time. No more multiple times doing this job! I also put a new billet PCV Valve on the new one.
