Clutchmasters released a new FX1000 twin disk clutch for the 2JZ/V160 & T56 that is a lot smoother to drive than the older FX850 was. In this video we take it apart to see how it works, and give it a try in a Supra.

Ive always found triple disks easier to drive then twins for some reason on the hondas, must be the surface area.

Does the fx1000 still cause tranny rattle like most clutches that eliminate the dual mass flywheel?

Well....since I have a 2JZGTE swapped in my Mk3 Supra w/ an R154 transmission (instead of a V160 or T56), I'm now stuck w/ the FX850...
