Singapore’s East Coast Yong Tau Foo Eatery (Ampang Niang Tou Fu) just closed for good in May. So why not just go right to the original source! Haven’t been to the original Ampang Yong Tau Foo (Restoran Foong Foong: Ampang Yong Tau Foo) for more than 10 years I think. Don’t even recognize the place at all, but damn! Prices still as good and food standards are still amazing! Took a 15RM Grab from BTS which took roughly 16mins and it’s so damn worth it. Must order their homemade chrysanthemum tea, all their fried stuff, especially the fried dumplings. The soup based dumplings are really good too.
