Incredible payer.He was the main reason for Spains success during that time as without his finishing they'd have won nothing.They passed teams off the park in the 2010 world cup but outside of Villa had very little cutting edge, he was the real difference maker as Xavi, Iniesta etc set it up for Spain to win, he made sure they did win.

I always thought he was slightly underappreciated in the wider footballing world.
