I am catholic but am also sensitive and have had various gods and goddesses visit me. I feel like Christianity is like a filter for me thru which compatible spirits seep thru. For example while wearing a joan of arc medal I notice symbols associated with the valkylries (spell?) Shoe up non stop. Similarly When thinking about Christ as a healer Belanos suddenly came to me, and at first I had no idea who he was I had to look him up! Mayne because they were both healers? I can see why the early Christians found congruence with his spirit and christ's. My experience with him has shown to me that he is strongly benevolent and easy for a Christian like me to work with without upsetting the holy spirit. I did not notice Sun rays but rather experienced something like electrical zaps of light going off in my head when close to him. He is very comforting, like experiencing a warm hug. a big help to my anxiety. He also seems to be a powerful aid in fighting off spirits trying to cause disorder.

I have had two impressive encounters with Belenos. One was within a few hours after writing a letter regarding healing matters of the heart, the second was a visit in a dream that was senual, loving, powerful, but not x-rated. I am determined to learn and connect more.

Belenos, Bel, or Bhel is related much more closely with Baal, the Ancient Semitic god of fertility, weather, and war. This makes sense, because I've traced the Gaals back to thie area of Asian Minor (Turkey) so far.
