As an immigrant and now a US citizen, I believe the Democrats have been the most sympathetic to helping refugees from other nations in the US. Obama was the first president to openly support the dreamers, followed by Biden. I will be voting for Harris/Walz in November who I believe will show more compassion to immigrants than Trump and the Republicans.

The Supreme Court has stated time and time again that the President, as the executive branch of government doesn’t have final say on the issue.

Its Congress, the legislative branch that has the power to fix the dreamers with signature of the President to finalise and but it into legal binding law.
