Sechs hervorragende Berliner Geigerinnen spielen die drei Partiten und drei Sonaten von Johann Sebastian Bach nacheinander in Werkreihenfolge. Es sind die Ersten Konzertmeisterinnen des Konzerthausorchester Berlin Suyoen Kim und Sayako Kusaka sowie Viviane Hagner (Artist in Residence 2007/08), Carolin Widmann, Veronika Eberle und Midori Seiler, die dem Konzerthaus Berlin seit langem verbunden sind.

This may well be the best Partita 3 performance I have heard over the last 65 years. Incredible bowing, perfect phrasing, and of course gorgeous violin. Music composed by a 17th century German master played/interpreted flawlessly by a 21st century Korean violinist. What a wonderful world!

Suyoen’s violin sound is so clean, clear, transcendent. She is at ease with Bach’s music. It just cleanse all the dust from my soul. Wonderful!! I think I am so lucky to listen to her music. She only concentrates on music nothing else. I look forward to her getting grow as time goes by, Wish her many good lucks and health in the coming years.

I'm a professional violinist playing for over 30 years. I've played and heard a LOT of solo Bach. This is some of the most beautiful playing I have ever heard! So exquisitely and tastefully done. Love love love her interpretation and the beautiful phrasing and tone. I'm going to go back and revise some of my bowings and phrasings because I love some of the new ideas she's given me to make my interpretation even more beautiful.
