Basically this is spin the wheel. You either win because you have a hacker on your team or you lose because the hacker on your team is getting outhacked. Both those options out of your control

Honestly, my opinion is, if the hacker performs a hack that's not gonna ruin the gameplay like ink color changers, hackers who have PERSONAL character hacks such as playable Rival octolings that DON'T affect the other players, or things of that nature...if he performs hacks like that, it's fine.

It doesn't hurt the other players, it doesn't ruin the gameplay, it's just either a personal hack or a hack that benefits the other players.

HOWEVER, if he has aimbots, and...things like this, than it's probably just some joker trying to ruin people's day.

Still am yet to run into a hacker since playing the game a few weeks after release. I still play it to this day

I honestly don't understand why hackers are so rampant in Splatoon 1, especially in just regular turf war. Like... is that fun for you? Not having to do a thing as the entire map is constantly coated in your team's color and the opposing team can't even leave spawn? Is that really fun???

apparently this is a regular occurrence in splatoon 1 according to the comments, but I still play the game almost everyday and I have never seen a hacker. Maybe it's because of timezones...

The first match I had played in years had a hacker on the other team, and just before they left/got banned(probably not) they covered they entire map in our ink. We won lol
