Bobcat vs Deer! Mule Deer defends its yearling!

This is really cool a Bobcat going about his business is confronted by a Mule Deer mother protecting her yearling. Bobcats have been known to hunt young deer, but today the mother Mule deer defends her young with fervor. Note the Bobcat’s growl as he/she is chased up a tree! pretty cool!

Even baiting deer, so interesting. I’ll figure it out. Urine I think, but why would Deer, Coyote, Bobcat, Mountain Lion be so interested in the smell, so much so they rub themselves on the dirt .
