Exactly. Every single "update" they just make already free effects/tools pro. Such as the recent change of custom masking and smooth slow-motion. Not to mention all they do is add more for the pro users instead of creating new free tools.

as a capcut editor im so happy someone addressed this! first, they made some of my fav fonts into pro, then some of my fav effects, then MOTION BLUR and etc. its really not fair, i can go into my old cc projects and bam, i need capcut pro in order to save it to my gallery again since i used old effects that have turned into pro. now we just have to go through the struggle of making and finding alternatives for the stuff that was made into pro. 😭

As a capcut editor, I remember when pro didn't exist. It's so unfair that they are making everything pro because some people can't buy it (like me). I think they should make more things that are for free as it us extremely unfair for people who aren't allowed to spend real money on apps and games and stuff like that. Fun fact: capcut will let u use the pro items but when ur gonna export it will go: erm u gotta buy pro teehee🤓☝️

capcut PC user here almost all the good stuff is pro and all the bad stuff is free like to remove a simple background of a person, WHICH WAS FREE A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, I now have to use free websites to remove the background of a person which annoys me so much, even the stock images are pro and like what I can just onto the web and use those... I noticed that after i edit a video with free effects the next day to edit another video with mostly the same effects that I get a "update" to fix a problem for pro users but instead they decided to make the free effects that I used for my edit FOR PRO USERS and I was thinking that they personalize the pro items for every person who edits so they are more likely to buy pro because they see that there effect that the like the most is in the pro section.

I would talk for a whole day cause ima certified yapper and honest kid so what ever comes out of my mouth is what your getting😊
