My Facebook account got NINE account restrictions in 12 days.

Each for 24 hours at a time.

1. They NEVER told me why they restricted my account, other than to say I violated Community Standards (but never which one).

2. They also NEVER gave me the opportunity to appeal their decision. (Unlike their bans)

3. Most of the time, the account restriction was instant. Like their software focused on a keyword, and not done by an actual person.

4. I got immediate account restrictions after making comments like "Yes please" and "No doubt that you do."

It's insane. Don't really want to do Facebook anymore, but everyone I love is on it.

Any ideas?.

The "See Why" doesn't exist anymore. I'm on my 3rd restriction this month for nothing.

They don't allow you to appeal anymore. In the past I got my ban lifted by adding context in the appeal but they don't offer an appeal anymore and all you can say is 'okay' now.

The annoying thing is they don't tell you why you were restricted or let you appeal the decision anymore like they used to. If you don't know the reason for the punishment then it becomes pointless as you can't learn from it for future activities. I got restricted even though I didn't have any fight or issue with anyone, or attack anyone. So I'm at a loss to understand why. I believe the issue is that their bot algorithms are making this decision but are unable to contextualise interactions so flag certain terms that might be completely benign in the context.

I believe I was restricted because I talked about the Bomb Squad, which is a term South Africa rugby uses for their substitutes and I believe the Facebook algorithm flagged me for the word 'bomb', which is ridiculous as it's a sports term in rugby. But the issue is that don't give you an opportunity to appeal it or add context to the situation which could help the Facebook algorithm in future
