15 Side Hustle Ideas for 2024 💸 businesses my friends & I have tried and made it work

I started my first ever side hustle in 2018 selling greeting cards. I then started to teach calligraphy workshops for a couple months until I quit my 9-5 government office job in 2019, and since then I've tried a whole bunch of business ideas being self-employed for 3.5 years!

(I know in the video I say I've done 9, but there's actually 10... I forgot to include my pet-sitting business haha 😂)

Another awesome video Dina! I have been self employed for nearly a decade. As a dog walker for a long time and now as a disability support worker with YouTube as my side hustle :) I also have a print on demand store but I'm not very active there so it's slow but who doesn't love a passive income, big or small!

I love, love, love that you have done so many side hustles and I definitely agree with you about the shift of mindset thing. I am trying to be an entrepreneur myself and I have been trying many different things but there is unfortunately a lot gatekeeping. So, I would love to know more details about the side hustle processes, like where do we get started? I was inspired by one of your ideas, which was to start your own workshop/coaching, but then where do you host that idea? How do you draw people in? Do you make a social media page? Or is there an website where it's meant for those things? How do these people know to join your Zoom call and where do you collect your pay? So many questions, haha.
I would also love to know more about your blogging process, as well! Like where do you blog, how many times a week, and how long it took for you to find your success (financially or audience), as well as any advice you could give.
