Targeted lung health checks - making an earlier diagnosis

Dr Hussein Chreif, Respiratory Consultant talks about the importance of taking up your offer of a target lung health check.

Targeted Lung Health Checks (TLHCs) help detect cancer at an earlier stage when curative treatment is more possible. People aged between 55 and 74 years, who are current or former smokers, will be invited to a TLHC by letter and in collaboration with their GP practice.

These checks are currently taking place in Slough and will be moving to Aldershot later in 2023.
