Just wanted to say your video was exactly what I needed, and I sincerely appreciate your humorous commentary throughout. 🙏😆

I have a Sligh clock that I am pretty sure is a Howard Miller movement. My hour hand is about a 1/4 inch off of center when striking 12. Do I just stop the clock at noon, remove the nut and minute hand and push the hour hand forward to where it should be? Is it that easy?

Whoah!!! That was weird!!! As I watched the silent hammers, my clock struck!! I thought maybe I had sampled some of those medications you mentioned!!

Hi I Just got gifted a Howard Miller 1976 and everything looks great but the long handle looks that it has no grip it doesn't crank or pull anything actually slides when is on top does this means is brocken? Where can I order that and /or do you think it's just loose and something needs to tighten? I appreciate your help

Can you do a video on how to repair the hour hand being slightly loose? It can move less than a quarter turn or about 3/8" which causes the hand to either be lagging behind or ahead of the correct time.

Two questions:

First, is it not possible to set the clock time without the weights running?
Second, why would you ever have to rotate the hands forward? Couldn't you just wind them back to precisely what time it is and then let them go?

My Howard Miller grandfather clock has a very tiny swing. Does this mean the "escapement" gear that is ticking is worn? (Sorry if this is not the proper term, I am just learning)

Helpful. A dark commentary. Probably, this guy should not be out in the public but, should continue to take his meds and work in seclusion. Sad that this guy would ever interact with family or people. Good luck in all you do, but take your meds and live a happier life?
