UCLA, USC differs in police response to protests

UCLA and USC had stark differences in their response to the unrest on campus amid pro-Palestinian protests and pro-Israeli counter protests. Eric Leonard reports for the NBC4 News on May 1, 2024.

Protesting is a legal right. Breaking and entering, destroying others' property, tresspassing, and disobeying a lawful order is Not. Let's not pretend these people are innocent. They aren't. They are comitting a crime... you CANT protest while committing a crime.

We applaud USC for being smart about the whole situation but they should threaten expulsion from school too.

I graduated from USC. They've always been a conservative school. They don't condone violence, nor out-of-control behavior. Recently, USC has accepted some liberal views, but they're more traditional than other universities. Also, they won't allow students to be endangered. The university has humanitarian and philanthropist endeavors concerning the surrounding community. USC exemplifies the best characteristics.

Those protests are affecting all students and the Universities in those campuses. That doesn’t do any good. They should take their political protest to Washington DC and the White House where they belong.
