Taku Glacier Helicopter and Airboat Adventure

This tour offers a small group experience and all possible perspectives of the largest glacier of the Juneau Ice Field.

The tour begins with an approximately 15 min helicopter flight out to our remote location on the Taku River. Once landed, you'll board one of our airboats for an up-close tour at the glacier's terminus.
You'll come within arm's reach of the ice, and stop in various locations for photos during your approximately 45 minute airboat tour.

Once back at Taku Point, you’ll leave the airboat to rejoin the helicopter that will take you up, up, up to the top of the Taku Glacier. Step out of the helicopter and set foot on the amazing 4500’ thick ice for your guided walk.

Finish your tour with another helicopter flight back to Juneau over the Tongass National Forest, the Taku River and Coast Mountain Range.
