Glendale man reportedly shoots burglar who attacked him with knife

The homeowner told police that he fired one shot at 37-year-old Daniel Leon as he charged at him with a knife, hitting his left leg.

As a 24 year Military Vet, I tell people who own guns to go to 'Firing Range' and receive Proper Instruction on the use of the weapon. The victim wouldn't have to worry about the thief returning, if the shot was to "Body Mass", instead of a leg.

The guy steals, breaks in, then when caught in the act, pulls out a knife, so he would also kill the home owner as well just to get away!!! Funny when you catch a drug junkie in the act, they get mad at you, as if it's their right to steal from you. This thief was lucky he only got shot in the leg, because most the time the owners would aim for that dumb block on-top of the thief's shoulders.😤
