The problem with new games is that game developers dont optimize their games

Been rocking 1080ti since 2018 and I have put 14, 0000 hours of gameplay on it. I will use it through most of this year hopefully. Great card!

Remember when Flagship gpus were affordable? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Got mine for $80 off of fb marketplace 2 years ago, my first pc build, what a gift! I’ve been gaming ever since, any game I want. I love it, looking to get a 3070ti/3080 soon so I can get more frames to play COD at 240 (1080p) and Elden Ring in 4k.

But if I don’t get it, I’ll still be rocking the gigachad 1080ti til it bricks on me.

It's super weird how the 1080ti is 8 years old now. I remember back in 2018 when I built my first gaming PC, Ryzen 7 1700, gtx 1070, and 16gb ddr4 2400mhz. Crazy to believe that was a mid-high end pc back then.

I own one of the best, or even the best GTX 1080 Ti. MSI GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z and i'm still rocking it. I was planning to upgrade to an RTX 5080 but it's performance was not what i expected so i decided to skip this gen entirely.

I'll buy an RTX 6000 series card instead and my GTX 1080 Ti will serve me 2 more years. Truly the goat gpu. I can even game at 4K in some games like Doom Eternal, Battlefield 5, Batman: Arkham Knight, Wolfenstein New Colossus etc. I can play old games at 4K and i have plenty of old games waiting to be played. So i'm happy with my trusty old GTX 1080 Ti. Still works like a charm really. It will be 10 plus years when i'll finally replace it with a new gpu.

I'm still using 1080ti on 1440p after 7 years. I reapplied the thermal paste and the heat is no issue anymore.
It can play most games at maximum settings and kinda ok but can be a bit of a struggle against latest AAA titles like Monster Hunter Wilds.
Basically the best GPU I've ever bought. It's a shame Nvidia may never do smthing like this ever again.

3:48 is obviously Forza Horizon 5, not CS2.

I just picked up an EVGA FTW3 1080ti today for $160 local. I buy and sell used PC hardware and got my hands on a hybrid 1080ti last year and was blown away with how well it performed for its age. Needless to say, this 1080ti FTW3 was always my dream card when it launched. I plan on never letting this one go. Such a beautiful card and memory of NVIDIA’s biggest mistake 😂

Proud owner of 1080 TI ROG Strix + 7700k, built in 2017. While of course it showing its age with newer titles, I still have quite a big game backlog to catch up, so still do not considering to upgrade, probably will still wait till 6 series cards, so then my rig till hit 10 years lol, money well spent.

Still rocking two of them in SLI! It also saved me while my 3080 was being replaced in my main gaming machine, playing @4k60fps in the games I play. And no, I don't play the latest titles, just the ones I enjoy.😊

It wasn’t until the 4000 series launched that I replaced my 1080Ti, I could no longer justify buying absolute top end GPUs anymore though (plus tech news was full of instances of 4090’s melting their power cables)

5800x paired with a EVGA 1080ti FTW3 Hybrid but with a G12 bracket and a 280mm AIO. It still plays a majority of games today. It will be interesting to see how many cards last this far pasts their release date.

Still miss mine which I sold in 2022, already upgraded twice (to 6700 XT and then to an used RTX 3080). Without a doubt, the best card Nvidia ever made.

System: i7 3770K, 32GB Ram & GTX 1080 w/ 32in 60hz TV
Games: Civilization 6, Star Trek Online, New World, Elite Dangerous, Pal World & Star Craft 2
Only issues I have are loading times as Sata SSD's & the 3770K are falling a bit behind.

I still rock a Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti. Honestly, I am just now considering upgrading after 6 years. This card has been amazing.
