Exocet is one of the few Cold War-era anti-ship missiles with a history of actual use in combat.

Maximim target size depends on the specific target. If the target ship is carrying massive liquid-fuelled AShMs, in unarmored tubes, on the deck. Even an Exocet class Missile is quite capable of sinking it with 1 hit.

A Soviet-derived, diesel, Aircraft Carrier is also a sinkable target for an Exocet. Those ships have minimal internal armour, and an inadequate amount of transverse bulkheads. A missile penetrating the minimally armoured hull amidships, and then detonating, would have almost zero armour between the explosion and the various fuel tanks, pumps, and hard lines throughout the hull.
