Gmade GOM GR01 1:10 Scale RC Rock Buggy - Kit Build (Part 2)

Показать описание
BlackSeaRC presents the third video in a series featuring the Gmade GOM GR01 1:10 scale radio controlled rock buggy kit. In this video you can watch the continuation of the step-by-step kit build and get useful hints and tips along the way. As well as showing the kit itself, the video also shows the ancillary aftermarket items required to enable this buggy to get up and running (e.g. RC equipment) and also some additional items such as optional upgrade secondary rear shock absorbers, front LED lights and super scale realistic driver figure. This video will be interesting if you are planning a rock buggy/rock racer build yourself or if you are simply interested in RC crawlers/off-road buggies and want to find out more about the not so commonly seen Gmade GOM.
If you want to see the GOM being unboxed and the preparation for the kit build, then please check the first video in this series at the following link:

In future videos in this series, BlackSeaRC shall conclude the kit build. Then the set-up of the GOM shall be demonstrated and not forgetting the most important part, the driving, where the buggy will be subjected to off-road testing. There shall also be further upcoming ideas for customisation and features on upgrade and spare parts.
The GOM, or “Bear” when translated from the Korean language, is a 4-wheel drive rock buggy inspired by the custom-built racers that compete in the annual “King of the Hammers” desert race in USA. Special features of the Gmade GOM include:
- Full tube frame chassis for light weight but extreme rigidity and polycarbonate body panels (require painting).
- 4-wheel drive scale realistic driveline with metal bearings.
- 2-speed transmission including a gearbox, dual pad slipper clutch and a remote mounted transfer case. “High” gear is for high speed driving, “Low” gear is for rock crawling and the transfer case has a “Dig” function allowing the rear wheels to be locked for making tight turns in technical sections. These functions shall be controlled by a 3-position switch on the RC transmitter and a separate shift servo (not included in kit).
- GA60 straight axles with reinforcement truss, multi link suspension and adjustable aeration heavy-duty oil-filled shock absorbers.
- Chassis mounted steering servo (not included in kit) and "Hi steer zero Ackerman" knuckle arms for increased ground clearance and reduced turning circle.
- 2.2" MT-2202 off-road M/T tyres on GT02 beadlock wheels.
- Forward mounted motor and battery (these items not included in kit) are positioned to give front weight balance to aid traction whilst climbing.
- Detailed interior cockpit with racing bucket seats, gear levers and steering wheel.
This "GOM Kit" is Gmade part number 56000. There is also a "GOM Plus Kit" (GM56020) with a variety of upgrade parts included in the kit and a fully-assembled "RTR" Ready-To-Run version (GM56010).
