Is Echolalia A Symptom of Autism?

I'm 35 and just recently figured out i have ASD.
I do this ALL THE TIME. Often when watching something or reading something. I will repeat a phrase a couple times because i like the way the words feel/ sound when i say them, especially if it's funny, witty or a really good burn.

Do you find this echoing or scripting happens with non autistic children too?

Huh... I thought this was normal... I'll talk to my psychiatrist about this.
