In Leviticus 19-20 God commands the children of Israel to "be holy" unto Him (the Hebrew word means to be "set apart" unto Him), and then gives many practical ways to do this. This Torah portion is "Parsha 30 Kedoshim" (Torah Portion 30 "Holy ones") from the World Messianic Bible (WMB), with related passages from:
Amos 9
1 Peter 1
1 Corinthians 1
explaining what it means to be "holy unto the Lord.",

One of the ways is to honor our parents.

Tomorrow being Mother's Day (May 12, 2024) I also thank my mom (and dad) for helping me become a good musician.
Tomorrow night begins Israel's Memorial Day
Monday night begins Israel's Independance Day

God bless you Steve Kuban. Our wedding anniversary is on the 14th of May as well. It's a blessing that it's on the same day as Israel's independence day. God bless
