TERA: First Look at the Valkyrie Class

Tera’s new class is due to launch next week on April 11th. The Valkyrie, yet another female gender locked class, is one heck of a mobile and powerful melee attacker. Let me start by saying yes – I’d love for there to be a non-gender locked class or possibly at least a male class with all the new ones being released over the past couple of years. But that complaint aside, the Valkyrie is awesome. Only Castanic women can be a Valkyrie – a massive polearm wielding melee fighter.

Since its a Valkyrie being gender locked finally make sense. But the race locks just seem bizarre in a 2017 MMO update.

This is from the same game that allows you to drive around in police so the reasoning for doing things like this is odd.

i wonder if the new thor movie might bring tons of people into the game and trying this class. altho i dont think the Valkyrie and "ragnarok" fits this universe

The animations are VERY similar to reapers. At least a couple of the skills.

Valkyrie lore are always female so the gender lock has to be applied to this class.

too bad, would have come back to play tera if valkyrie wouldn't be genderlocked, so... still waiting for a decent MMORPG or patches

Make a Non-lock class. Better Stick To Alin race

Really do not like the class being called valkyrie. I play valk on bdo and this just does not fit my idea... Oh well.

Haven't played Tera for a couple of years and come to check if anything is new....yep 2 new gender AND race locked classes.
welp, looks like nothing has changed.
