The U.S. won’t sell the F22 because it’s equipped with proprietary electronics. So the Israelis bought the F35 and installed their own proprietary electronics.

Every container ship should have a special container on its deck. One that has a self contained a surplus US Navy CIWS from our mothball fleet. Since the CIWS only needs power to be functional as a defensive weapon, having it mounted in a container would be perfect to give every ship some significant defensive capability. And the containers could be reused and rotated among vessels transitioning thru the troubled areas. CIWS = close in weapon system

My uncle was a WWll veteran and yes of course we think of the safety of all who are risking there lives every day just trying to make an honest living and then all the sudden you have to worry if you will ever see your family again.
