From a Cardinals fan, I was very impressed with Dansby Swanson tonight. Great addition for Chicago and excited to watch him for years to come (as long as the Cards win😉)

“And cub fans go home unhappy.” That might be my new favorite broadcast quote, lol 😅

Well, Jack did pitch twice as long and gave up half as many runs. So he’s trending in the right direction. 😃😁

Why in the world did Flaherty throw the exact same pitches to Madrigal and Dansby the second time around that he failed to get them out on the first time around?!?

I loved Chip Caray when he was with the Cubs and I still like him but that other guy screaming has an awful voice, makes me wanna stab my eardrums with an ice pick!

And always remember Cubs fans, "Skip Paray... uh, Skip Caray, whose pappy was the legendary Harry, and whose son is Skip, died in his sleep last night... make that his son Chip." - George Ofman

WHOA MAMA Folks, Manager of the Year Oliver Jose Marmol and his St. Louis Cardinals (the GREATEST team in the league) with a THIRD STRAIGHT TRIUMPH ! It's CONFIRMED the squad will go 138-24, TAKE the NL Central, MAKE the playoffs once again and in five/six months (depending on when the games are in October/November), RAISE that TWELFTH World Series championship!

Nolan Brian Gorman, SETTING THE TONE ... in the top of the first inning, the 23-year-old (HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!) from Phoenix, Arizona gets the offense rolling by DEMOLISHING a ball to left center field!

I had GOOSEBUMPS during the top of the third inning! First, Lars Taylor-Tatsuji Nootbaar, the 25-year-old from El Segundo, California, OBLITERATES a bomb to right center field. Then, Brendan Michael Donovan, the 26-year-old from Würzburg, Germany, has EXCELLENT plate discipline to drive in co-Most Valuable Player of the League Paul Edward Goldschmidt! Finally, Paul Sterling DeJong, the 29-year-old from Orlando, Florida, stays FOCUSED at bat to bring in co-MVP Nolan James Arenado.

Left fielder Brendan Michael Donovan, DANG !! In the bottom of the sixth inning, he makes the BREATHTAKING #SCTOP10 catch! That PROVES the STL is not only the best offensively, but defensively, too.

A BONE-CHILLING top of the ninth inning! First, Paul Sterling DeJong LAUNCHES A GAME-WINNING nuke to left center field. Then, TRUE CATCHER Andrew Robert Knizner, the 28-year-old from Glen Allen, Virginia, adds CRUCIAL insurance on the RBI double to center field, letting Dylan James Carlson cross home plate!

Y'all, HOOT and HOLLER for Cap'n Jack Rafe Flaherty! The 27-year-old from Burbank, California is a FRONTRUNNER for the Cy Young Award this season. GOLF CLAPS go to Neil Andre Pallante, Christopher Lee Stratton and Giovanny Gallegos, all part of the best bullpen in the league, for the SENSATIONAL defense!

TIME TO FLY !!!! #12in23
