What are Compound Paths in Adobe Illustrator?

When I was a beginner, I just couldn't wrap my mind around compound paths! Hopefully this video helps you to understand them better.

In compound path, we can edit the negative shape but In minus front, we can't. Correct me if I'm wrong.

simply awesome the way u thing would like to add at the last unite u said its destructive u can use as non destructive also by pressing Alt and click unite in pathfinder ...its non destructive way of of using
