I like KLM and the Dutch people .my first trip with KLM was on a DC10 from Johannesburg via Kano and onto Amsterdam . DC 10 was named Johann sebastian Bach . Coming home to Johannesburg again on KLM DC10 but in the Philippines airlines livery, with KLM crew which at the time seemed unusual . Amazing experience at the time . Maybe KLM can do a historic video on all the various types of aircraft KLM have had in there fleet over the years. Keep it going KLM .

Interessante en informatieve video, leuk! Heb het zelf jaren geleden als leek eens in een 737 sim in Chengdu mogen proberen maar dat viel knap tegen, echt niet zo gemakkelijk als het hier in de video lijkt.

I have never been in such a flight simulator but I bought X-plane from Laminar Research. And so I learnt from them and other pilots on the internet how to program the flight computer, take off and land on ILS. So fully programmed on the autopilot. I don't even have a flight stick I just use my mouse! And they say that you are supposed to take the autopilot off line 100 meters before you land, or something like that, but if you don't do that, the instruments or the autopilot lands the plane just fine, so you don't have to do that really, all you need to do is to apply reverse trust, and brake and keep the plane straight on the runway.. You can even wobble the plane from left to right with screeking tires to diminish speed. Costs you maybe some tires but the simulator doesn't mind that! It's a long time that I played with this but I can probably still do it. And I always flew with the Boeing 747 because if you have four engines, that unfortunately burn kerosine into the environment why use only two? Obviously! I just liked the four engines, never really thought about the environmental issues. But anyway that's what I learnt! 👨‍✈️
