5’5.5” and I ski the Ranger 102 169. You’re my hero’s.

Cool this video confirms my new purchase. I ski a 184 on my k2 Mindbender that has a lot of rocker and short effective edge. On my new skis kendo 88 I got the 177 looking at the longer effective edge and shorter rocker.

I’m 5’9 190lbs, advanced skier, spend 80% of my time off piste. I ski in Europe so depending on the time of year the snow isn’t always dry and soft. I’m stuck between 2 skis; K2 reckoner 112 177cm and Armada 116 jj UL 175cm
Would you recommend that I size up to a 184 in the k2 / 185 in armada or stick with the shorter length which is around the same size as me?

For the rule of thumb with your height…chin, nose or top of head…is that with your boots on or not?

I'm 5'8 or 173 cm, 170 lbs or 77 kg, intermediate, I ski on-piste all the time, and I like to go fast with medium turns, I think I'll buy the Atomic Redster Q4, would you recommend 161 or 169?

How does sizing snowblades come into play for this?🥳

Great Video! I am 5’ 10” @ 200lbs - looking to buy the 2023 Atomic Maverick 95ti - I am 45 years old (intermediate skier) i ski 80% groomers and the occasional off trail out in the west coast. I am stuck between what length to get - these skis only come in 172 (forehead height) or 180 just a little over my height. I am not an aggressive skier and I do like the occasional speed and steep black diamonds I rented 180 last year and struggled a bit on them, for my weight and height will the 172 be ok? I don’t want to regret my decision, on paper the 172 seem to be ok after looking at several charts on the web.

I’m 6’0 160 pounds and I’d say expert skier, trying to decide between a 177 and a 184 for the k2 recknor 112, which has a lot of rocker, any help?

Isn’t it the other way around due to the total surface area contacting the snow:
fully cambered = skis longer
fully rockered = skis shorter

No ski made after about 1995 is really a viable ski in my opinion

That was very not helpful other than "go to a pro ski shop"
