Welcome to a question about phase difference, in this question we are asked to be able to spot the difference in phase between two points on a graph. I try and get across the idea that you can work out the phase difference between two points by taking a step back and looking at the wave from two different points. Hopefully it should make more sense when I go onto explain it.

Wavelength + 0.25 wavelength = 0.5

Therefore 0.5/1.25 = 0.4
