Your miss information may cause some people with iPhones to think they have to use AirPods or EarPods. Any Bluetooth headphones work fine and a relatively cheap adapter can get you an aux port

I hope you realize any wireless headphones work with Apple devices. Sure, some may not have special features like spacial audio, but you can still listen to music just fine.

Apple knows it's possible to make wired airpods. It's a really good idea, less room for losing them while maintaining the airpod quality. But no, Apple won't make them.

I had my AirPods since 2021 and they still work perfectly fine. Sure the battery life isn’t as long but it still last me like 4-5 days. Just take care of your stuff

I was happy with $10-$20 Bluetooth buds for a while until I got some air pod pros on sale.

The transparency and anc blew me away and it seamlessly works with my phone, watch and iPad without much friction. For the quality of life features it was sure worth it

I mean they’re surprisingly really good still, and the 2nd gen non-pro airpods are going for like $70-$80 now.

Its very hard to justify $12-$25 for replacement batteries when I can pretty much buy brand new ones for $70-$80. Their pricing ladder are insanely close to where it’s hard to choose one over the other, especially if you’re not technically inclined to repair it yourself.

Hiring someone else to replace the battery will out you at $60-$100 of labor and parts.

My own airpods are 5 years old and still working perfectly.
