How to Clip on PC with NVIDIA Overlay - Shadowplay

In this video, I'll be showing you how to clip on PC with NVIDIA overlay. With the NVIDIA overlay you can set up instant replay, which allows you to clip your gameplay after it happens. This if often referred to as NVIDIA shadowplay.

Using the NVIDIA instant replay feature makes it easy to clip videos. Rather than having to start and stop recording all the time, instead you can clip the last few minutes of gameplay. Allowing you to always be recording, without having your hard drive fill up with boring gameplay.

Additionally, the clip length can be customized to your liking. This means if you want to clip Valorant then you can set it to 2 or 3 minutes to record the entire last round.

You can also use the clip feature to record your screen, not just gameplay. This can be done by enabling the capture desktop setting in the recording configuration. Allowing you to record your screen after it happens.

Additionally, the desktop capture feature will allow you to record games that otherwise the NVIDIA overlay might not typically support, such as browser games.

Hello SlurpTech! I'm hoping you have some insight on this.. I play CoD4 PC and am looking to record clips. Do I have to record every game in case something good happens? Or can I hit a clip and then press a button to save the last 30 seconds without needing to record the entire game / take up disk space?

Basically, if I hit a clip, can I save the last 30 seconds without needing to record the entire game?

Best wishes and love the channel,
Jay
