If your PC has less than 2GB RAM, I strongly recommend antiX. It will use 100-130MB RAM at idle, on a 32-bit machine.

Keep in mind, a free VPN is never free. They are making off you somehow such as keeping your logs and onselling it. Paid services such as NordVPN or hell even make your own is a suggested way to go.

I dont think that gonna work perfect for any linux distro (some distro are heavier than others /you d better choose a light distro (than any distro of you choose) ) + for some who doesnt have a gpu, only cpu 2 core and 2->4 ram, that not gonna be fast, and you gonna have sadly bad experience if you open a lot of tabs or others apps at the same time (i recommend not use more than 3, 4 tabs and clear cache every time you get slow or a complete freeze in some tabs )
