Xiaomi 14 / 14 Pro / 14 Ultra - new HyperOS Update improves camera

A new update arrived for the chinese versions of the #Xiaomi14 #Xiaomi14Pro and #xiaomi14ultra and I check out the improved camera features.

Have you noticed that Xiaomi 14 actually switches to telephoto camera at 2.6x (62mm) so its camera isn't actually 75mm

Well, wondering does this update do something to the camera module getting hot while taking photos or videos, thereby inducing fog on lenses.
Or, would the fogging issue be resolved...
Well, my poor device is unable to do photography in even a slightest cool breeze...

Can you tell me if the 14 series has the option to use a full screen wallpaper on your AOD? This feature came out on the iPhone 14 I believe, and Samsung copied it to their S24U lineup. I have this on my S24U and it's one of the things keeping from switching to Xiaomi.

Xiaomi 14 PRO didn't receive this update. It received version 1.0.45.0 related to the security package

Can you recommend any good cases for the xiaomi 14 ultra I have already ordered nillkin cases but wondering what other cases I can try.
Also should I get camera lens protector? If so which ones?

Very nice update. To me the main issue has been blurry images in very low light when zooming. And this has been replicated in reviews out there. The culprit being long shutter speeds, so should be fixed in software. Could you check this? Thank you so much for the coverage!

@lltechview plis can you test the new Realme GT6? i know oneplus 12 and vivio x100 and oppo find x7 ultra are better phones but i would like to know if its better than Z60 ultra, and what ranking youll put it, because the price is really good.

Update now available for global 14 Ultra here! Interestingly, not a word of camera improvements in release notes. Just system optimizations, bug squashed, oh, and better tactile sensitivity for the Calculator app ...

Xiaomi supporting the Chinese versions well while abandoning the Global ones again it seems. Selling my Global 14 Ultra - buy the time it receives any useful updates, there'll be new, better options around.

Unfortunately, xiaomi 14 global and europe is stuck on may security patch and i seriously doubt that an update with these fixes will arrive anytime soon. Truly dissapointed in xiaomi, they have failed me in every way possible, i wont ever buy a phone from them again.

It would be better if they update the camera sofware to manage the overexposure. I feel like when there's present of light on human or subject's face, it tends to overexpose the light🥲 and another thing is the battery life. Mine is awful with just 3 to 4 hrs😢
