Red-crowned cranes escape winter at east China’s wetland

More than 500 red-crowned cranes have arrived in Yancheng National Rare Bird Reserve to escape the harsh winter. They mostly come from northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, with some flying from Siberia. They begin arriving at Yancheng reserve in mid-October every year.
