Here I thought the CDC was this respectable scientific organization set out to inform on the safest and most important medical practices for the public. Couldn't it wait another month or two when the country had more than half the population fully vacinated? This feels like a pander play rather than anything to do with public safety. There is still almost 200 million US citizens without a single dose.... and the vaccination rate is plateauing quickly.

Trust people to be responsible and honest, haha. Good points in this, I wish more people would understand and be responsible but I don't see that happening. It's pretty pathetic that everyone can't just do what they're supposed to in order to protect themselves and save lives.

As of tomorrow it will be two weeks after my 2nd dose. Me and my family are protected. I'll continue to wear my mask because I don't want to risk any children getting it, but for the anti-vax/anti-mask crowd, may the odds be ever in your favor.

I remember when all of the mask mandates started. I work at a Walmart and the police contacted us to tell us that they would not be responding to any mask related calls. They said that they just did not care and that if we wanted to enforce the mandates in our store that it was up to us to figure out how to do it.
