Once upon the time, in the kingdom of Belgium by the Northsea, there was a little airline called Sabena. She tried very hard to be the best airline in the world and set out to find the best blankets for her beloved, but very demanding, passengers. She set out and asked the people of the land: where to find this magical blanket. One day a wise old women directed her to the town of Opwijk. There she was shown to the gates of Manata castle where she found Master Henry De Lovinfosse overseeing his looms that were spinning out the most soft woolen Scottish Plaid blankets she had ever seen. She bought a zillion of them and henceforward all her passengers traveled in sublime comfort through the blue realms of the skies and she lived long but regrettably not forever after.

I was given two of these blankets as a young kid and I have used them since. They are now over 50 years old.

It is not to be taken as nostalgia, it just expresses a feeling of the times. I was still a toddler so to me it is just a piece of atmosphere, a context.
