The only video after watching many others that really made me understand the basic concept. Great effort. Thank you

This is literally THE BEST tutorial on customising bootstrap. This video is very easy to understand as a beginner doing this for the first time. I was stuck thinking about the logic behind the order of the scss file and such stuff. After watching this video I know what to do to customise bootstrap exactly as I want.
From my little experience with scss files, I think it is better to change variables in another file and then import it into the customising file. Repeating this for the other files, if needed, makes it easier for me to quickly know what is happening.

Thank you for this, as a designer needing more and more control of the frontend result, I've struggled with the concept of scss until today. After many weeks, It clicked, and thanks to this video. It was clear, straightforward, and explained the concept so clearly, much appreciated.

I'm in your udemy node.js course and now most of the code related things I look for lead back to you. So glad you are a good teacher, imagine this happened with someone I don't understand. 5 stars in that course by the way. Keep up the good work.

14:15 from this monent on I guess this "tricky part" of importing components - as you well pointed out - is the main reason users ran away from Bootstrap. Now I do know well how this works but I have to say this is wasn't easy to figure out.

To avoid installing ruby, install SASS using npm: npm install sass

I know this is a video way back in the 2018, but it helped me with my project. I'm using Bootstrap v5. Thank you very much! :) x

The compiling is automatically possible. Find the 'Live Sass Compiler' on your VSCode extensions.

For the people using Windows try using Terminal with WSL, and use everything as it was an Ubuntu terminal (intalling everything through NPM). It has been working pretty smoothly to me.

Thank you so much, this was exactly what I was looking for. I don't necessarily use all the bootstrap framework but the grid is very comfortable to me. I know that there are another avalaible sources like Tailwind CSS or just Vanilla CSS but in my job they are used to bootstrap so I was looking a way to just get exactly what we just use from boostrap and not their custom styling stuff.

Again, thank you so much! Really love this channel.

Love this tutorial and how you explain the initial setup of dependencies in a reasonable amount of depth...unlike other bootstrap 4 tutorial videos. Thank you! 👌

What I think is ridiculous is, why are there so many alleged experts in this field, and yet NONE of them can explain it in plain language like you have here Academind. Great job.
