Shaylee you are amazing, dont stop doing you! We all love you so much! And trust me the other day I found a forum about me and it didnt make me the happiest either. You are getting bigger and people cant help but talk about you, that means your doing something right. If you were not doing something right they wouldnt waste there time make a forum and writing about you. Secretly there is something they admire. Haters are a part of life. And, I live by a quote that says "Hurt people, hurt people." So, these haters have most likely suffered hate or something of their own. That's sad. I like your beautiful attitude! Rock on lady!

My mom always told me this when faced with mean people (who are probably also hurting): "They need Jesus too." When we look at it in that perspective, it takes the focus off of us and our hurt, and causes us to think of others, and if possible, stop in the moment and pray for them. <3 Thank you for this.

Shaylee this video is too perfect for words! Every word you spoke was so full of raw and honest truth and I wanted to thank you so much for putting this side of yourself out there. Its tough being vulnerable when you put your life out for others to see but your courage in doing so means so much to me and to many others watching this video. I have always felt the same as you in that if someone finds joy in picking apart other peoples life and choices, then it can only mean that there is something wrong in their own lives and should not be taken to heart. This video is so inspirational- I used to listen to the people who made fun of me because of my disability but I feel like that is the lowest form of someone to make fun of someone with a disability. Thank you for sharing your heart. Your such an amazingly beautiful person

Loved this Shaylee! "Your opinion does not affect my way of living". Perfectly said. As for what I have learned...it's that hurting people hurt people. Remembering that helps me to brush off comments and simply block and remove it if it is really out of line. Thanks for sharing this :)

I felt like you were talking so personally to me in this video. It's been a little better recently, but I used to go through SO much hate and bullying and I always let it control me. Even as I got older and it stopped, my life revolved around those old comments. I didn't do things that I wanted to do, I missed opportunities because I let them take that control. I let them affect who I was. It was hard. It still is hard at times if I'm being honest. But I'm getting better. Thank you for this video. As a counselor, I am a firm believer that when people say hateful and hurtful comments it is a direct reflection of them and not the person they are talking about. In my opinion, people who say things just to hurt others, could find something negative to say about anyone. I also agree that what other people say behind our back is none of our business. I love that you are focusing on the positives that YouTube has to offer! Plus all the memories you are capturing for yourself and your family! Love your channel.

I have learned that it's more about them than it is me when I get rude or judgmental comments, it does hurt to feel like that but I have to realize that I am okay and that I deserve to do or go where I want and those people may just have personal issues or were treated that way themselves or might be having a hard day and might be taking it out on others.

I know the situation isn't exactly the same, but I deleted my Facebook over 3 years ago and it was the best decision. So much hate and anxiety stemmed from that. It was so freeing to not be addicted to what other people were saying. You're so right... What other people say about me behind my back is none of my business!

I don't understand why people can hate on anyone let alone someone as nice as you.. are they jealous? I haven't seen the positive video yet but as a much bigger mom i'll be checking that one for sure
