Awesome Tony when you harvest I'll give you a few ideas how to use. The 60fps looks stunning, tack sharp!...Steve...🙂

I harvested my first fennel of the season yesterday. Sliced very thin, dressed with vinegarette of lemon juice, lemon zest, shallot minced, salt and pepper. Then top with parmigiana cheese and chopped parsley. Delightful served along side chicken.

Great video again Tony. Found a great simple crab, fennel, chilli and pasta dish.

Cover the fennel with the netting for a while. It will give them a little shade in the heat, until they get established.

The image quality is excellent and much appreciated! Love the episodes and the enthusiasm you have for growing even when stuff goes wrong. Keep it up big lad. Learn loads from your channel.

All looking fantastic.Cardiff is experiencing temperatures similar to London so watering seems to have taken over my, it’s great to see your veg patch thriving.🫠

60 fps works a treat Tony. Smooth, sharp & clear picture and excellent audio. Agree with Amanda R's description of how to cook fennel which also works when cooked in an air fryer with a splash of lemon juice after cooking. Have grown Marmande from seed this year (20p a packet at lidl - bargain!) without a greenhouse. Couple of weeks off picking but the amount of fruit developed is brilliant.

Here in Texas I grow fennel because it’s a host plant for swallowtail butterflies

The video was really good! Fennel is lovely, especially cut up and roasted with onions, parsnips, garlic etc etc.. keep up the good work.

The quality is great Tony. I was just thinking that before you asked. The fennel looks lovely, never eaten it myself but always like the look of it.

Fennel is my favourite, delicious sautéed with leeks and peas in a bit of stock. Can be so expensive too. Those plants look amazing.
Video is really clear and bright, looks great 👍.

Cracking quality pal really good! I have managed to get myself half a plot finally at the back of Percy Main bus depot. Looking forward to getting it sorted over the coming months with your inspiration!

You’re right. Nothing chows on bulb fennel in my garden … yet. Water hungry though…

The video looks stunning! We’ve had two weeks of 35C days here with no rain, but it looks like the weather will finally break this weekend back down to 27-28ish for the next week. So happy! (Delaware, East coast USA)

I like the look of the filming and picture quality, thanks for the video. Trying to keep on top of the watering with this other heat wave coming. Hope you and the veg are doing well. Fee in Scotland

I don’t usually cook fennel. I like to make a salad with the fennel bulbs and grapefruit and tomatoes. A little olive oil and salt and pepper. Let it set for an hour to meld the flavors.
