I loved this!
I made it with a size 5 hook on a variegated yarn in blue and Grey and white tints from a local shop.
As 5/6 mm was the recommended size for the hook but I had none larger I have chosen to swap the pattern with dc ch1 instead and it still worked great imho.

Thanks for another fun project. I watched the video and needed something small like this to work on while my most aloof cat had decided to occupy my lap. I grabbed my trusty 5.5mm hook and a skein of Caron Simply Soft in silver sparkle that was within reach. The cat wandered off halfway through the project but I kept crocheting. I now have lovely silver cowl/hat and know exactly what I am making for my work group for Christmas - in some cases using the same yarn as last year's fingerless mittens in each person's favorite color 😀 I love your videos ❤
