I still love my ole kenworth. Now that im retired and pulling my fifthwheel camper with it i think it will last till i pass. Cheaper than spending 90k on a 35 or 4500 to pull it. Only real problem i had back in the day was getting a volvo fixed there just wasn't enough dealerships . Back in the day i loved ole Whites. Then volvo bought the then put volvo name on it and call it good. Whites always rode good.

Awesome! But one thing it needs to have is an APU. Like an RV genset. Batteries can only last so long and unless one idles the engine for extended periods that won’t be for long. And a genset can power electric block heaters as well as the HVAC, so less risk of fire from an FFCH.

Where is the hanging locker space? Where is the large fridge that the previous model had? I'm a Volvo guy from '96 when I got my CDL. Epic fail Volvo!

Axle ratio is showing on door label all the way down 2:15 so this truck is set up for fuel economy…. Engine 455 HP
Torque 1850 Transmission I-Shift 13 speed Axle Ratio 2:15
Front Axle rating 13, 200lbs
Rear Axle rating 40, 000lbs

Just curious, how hard would it be to install a small shower where one of the cabinets is? I would rather have that and have single bed and use top bunk section for storage.

As I always say, volvo steals interior from freightliner, looks like S…t. Terrible look inside, 3 small cabinets for OTR driver! No storage at all. Fridge is small, ugly mirrors. I have 860 now, will never get one of this new designs. Junk.
