Effective altruism aims to help individuals improve their decision-making, but the topic of decision-making in groups often falls by the wayside. In this talk, Mahendra Prasad, a PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, focuses on two aspects of group decision-making: ways to aggregate information from individuals within a group and conditions under which groups tend to make better decisions.

Great talk! Thank you for putting together the Trump slide and for following it with the non-ideological slide. I've been wanting to see that for a while! Also, the pizza example is great and I'll be using it to explain approval voting to my friends and family in my elevator pitches.

I'm thinking that writing would have better effect than speaking, for expressing the thoughts you have here.
