Dog lost for weeks has the most amazing reunion with Mom and Dad

I’ll never forget when I had to board my dog for a month way outside town cause of a bad situation. Had to keep her safe. When they girls took me to go get her I went inside her room and she just freaked out. We both were crying. And she still had every toy I had sent to her weekly. She knew that she was coming home with me. When I turned around all the staff were watching and crying thru the window and said “this is our favourite part of this job”. Melted my heart his compassionate ppl are. I’m so glad this pup found its parents.

I had an experience where my beloved black cat suddenly didn’t show up one evening for dinner (indoor/outdoor cat). I searched and searched and cried and cried. I was convinced I saw him all over, only for it to be a tree stump or a shadow. Months went by & I cried truly everyday with a broken heart. One night I was trying to sleep when I heard him “knocking” at the front door (he used to jingle the screen door with his paws). I thought it was impossible, but went to the door and opened it - it was him!! He was thin & a bit scared, but it was him and I held him all night in my arms while he purred and purred like a baby. I’ve never felt that relief and comfort again like I did that night. It is indescribable, pure bliss. He was my very best friend & is now gone after 18 human years with me. I think of him every day and thank him for loving me

Omg this made me cry. I can’t IMAGINE how deep Ashley’s sadness was thinking she had lost her humans forever & the kennel was the extent of the rest of her life. What an amazing reunion 💚💚💚

Our cat went missing when I was a kid. I don't remember exactly how long he was gone, but I think it was a couple of weeks. We were so sad. Easter Sunday he showed up at the door. He'd lost a little weight and was tired and dirty. Even though he was hungry the first thing he did was give my mom tons of loves and headbutts instead of going to his food dish. He was with our family for 21 years.

It was so sweet to see this dog so overcome with joy & great happiness when he saw his family coming to get him. Seeing this dog actually crying at this family reunion brought tears to my
heart, too!
